Established during the 2007-2008 academic year, The College of New Jersey Society for Parliamentary Debate is affiliated with the American Parliamentary Debate Association (APDA). The league is primarily based in the Northeast and its membership consists of some of the country's most competitive debate teams. The Society is SAF funded and has received a generous grant from the School of Culture and Society.

This year we will attend several APDA tournaments. A list of all APDA events is on our Calendar of Events.

For more information about the logistics of parliamentary debate, and for tips on how to debate, go to the "Tools" tab.

The Society meets on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 7:00 pm in the Social Sciences Building lounge on the first floor. During each meeting, practice debate rounds will be conducted.
